Incredible original vintage oil painting on canvas, depicting a majestic mountain scene with a cool river running through the middle. Rich evergreen trees surround the landscape, and a glacial lake peeks out in the background. The artist exhibits superb technique in brushstrokes, light, shading, and detail. This is an absolutely stunning piece, and one my favorite finds to-date. It is showcased in the original carved and gilt frame with hand sculpted texture.
A fantastic focal piece for above a fireplace or buffet.
