Vibrant and stunning original river landscape painting done in oil pastels. The local Dallas artist, Rita Hendricks, used beautiful impressionistic strokes and intricate layers to create depth and shadow in a lovely rolling cloud skyline above the mountain range. She also started with a yellow underlayer before building the scene, which gives the whole piece a wonderful, warm glow.Â
